- Canvas & Heavy-Duty Textile Apparel Manufacturing
Canvas and other heavy-duty fabrics are chosen for one reason above all others: they take abuse that lighter textiles simply can't handle, and building garments from them means matching thread weight, needle type, and seam strength to fabric that fights back against the machine. Blue Star Manufacturing has produced textiles from Sialkot since 1972, and heavy-duty apparel calls for an industrial-grade approach to construction.

What We Produce
We manufacture durable canvas and heavy-fabric collections for rugged, utility, and work-inspired applications, built for garments expected to survive hard use rather than careful handling. These pieces prioritize longevity over refinement in most cases, so construction decisions favor strength at every point over a lighter, more delicate finish.
Heavy-Duty Construction
Canvas and similarly weighted fabrics need stronger thread and reinforced stitching to hold under the tension heavy fabric puts on a seam; standard construction that works fine on lighter textiles can fail under this kind of load. Stress points like pocket corners, strap attachments, and high-wear areas get bar-tacked or double-stitched for extra hold. Hardware, when a design calls for it, is selected and fitted to match the fabric's own durability, so a lightweight zipper or snap doesn't become the weak point in an otherwise heavy-duty garment.
Working To Your Collection
Send us your design references, fabric weight preferences, or existing samples, and we will build patterns and develop samples that meet the durability standard your collection needs before scaling into bulk production. Once a sample is approved, we carry that construction into full production runs, including private label manufacturing in bulk quantities, where canvas and heavy-duty apparel ships under a brand's own labels and packaging rather than ours.
