- Compression and performance wear manufacturer for activewear brands
Compression apparel has a job to do beyond fit: graduated pressure through key muscle groups, fabric that pulls moisture away from the skin, and stretch that holds its shape through repeated high-intensity use. Blue Star Manufacturing produces performance-focused collections for muscle support, stretch, and moisture management, covering compression tights, tops, sleeves, and base layers for activewear brands and importers across the USA, UK, and Europe, including private label production for brands that want the range made and delivered under their own name.
Compression wear
What we manufacture in compression and performance wear
Our range covers what a performance-focused brand typically needs: compression tights and shorts built with graduated pressure zones, long- and short-sleeve compression tops, arm and calf sleeves for targeted support, and base layers for training and recovery. Fabric selection is central to this category. Moisture-wicking, quick-dry blends with the right stretch recovery matter more here than styling, and we build to that rather than treating it as standard activewear. We produce from the buyer's own tech pack and sizing rather than a stock catalog.
From your design to a finished sample
Most orders start with a reference garment, a design file, or a full spec sheet describing fit, compression level, and fabric requirements. We build a sample from that, confirm stretch, moisture management, and construction, and get it signed off before bulk production begins. Brand tags and trims are applied at the sample stage to the buyer's specification, whether it's an established performance brand or a private label brand building its first compression range.
Consistency across the order
A tight or sleeve that fits and performs correctly as a sample has to hold that same compression and stretch across a full production run, and again if the collection repeats next season. Cutting and knitting settings stay consistent, fit gets checked at each stage, and fabric batches are tracked so performance doesn't drift between deliveries.
If you have a design, a reference garment, or a spec sheet ready, send it over, and we'll walk you through sampling and timelines for your compression and performance range.
