- Cut-, Puncture- & Abrasion-Resistant Wear Manufacturing
Cut and puncture protection comes as much from the fibre itself as from the construction around it, so building this category means working with fabrics engineered to resist blades and sharp edges rather than relying on weight or layering alone. Blue Star Manufacturing has produced garments out of Sialkot since 1972, and cut- and puncture-resistant wear demands construction methods that don't compromise the fabric's protective properties.
Cut
What We Produce
We manufacture cut-resistant garments, sleeves, aprons, arm guards, protective trousers, and cut-resistant gloves, covering the range needed to protect hands, arms, and the body from blade and sharp-material hazards. Different roles require different coverage within this range; some workers need full protective trousers, while others need targeted protection, such as sleeves or arm guards worn over standard clothing, depending on where the specific hazard is concentrated.
Protective Fiber Construction
Cut-resistant fabrics often contain reinforcing fibres woven or knitted into the base material, and stitching must secure seams without cutting through or weakening those protective fibers along the seam line, which is a different challenge than sewing standard fabric. Overlaps and coverage at joints, such as where a sleeve meets a glove or a guard meets an apron, are designed to prevent gaps where a blade or sharp edge could expose unprotected skin. Abrasion resistance is handled separately from cut resistance in fabric selection, since a material that resists cutting doesn't automatically resist scraping or grinding wear.
Working To Your Order
Send us your hazard type, role requirements, and size chart, and we build samples across the range before scaling into bulk production. Once a sample is approved, we carry that same construction into volume orders, including private label manufacturing in bulk quantities, where cut- and puncture-resistant wear ships under your company's or distributor's own name and packaging rather than ours.
