- Cycling wear manufacturer for sportswear brands
Cycling apparel has a technical profile most sportswear categories don't: jerseys cut for a riding position rather than a standing one, bib shorts with padded inserts for hours in the saddle, and windproof layers that need to block air without trapping heat. Blue Star Manufacturing produces cycling jerseys, bib shorts, tights, gilets, and windproof jackets for sportswear brands, teams, and importers across the USA, UK, and Europe, including private label production for brands that want the range made and delivered under their own name.

What we manufacture for cycling brands and teams
Our range covers a season's cycling collection: jerseys with a race-cut or relaxed fit depending on the brief, bib shorts built with padded chamois inserts, tights for cooler rides, gilets for changing conditions, and windproof jackets for the front line of protection. Construction varies by piece. A bib short needs seam placement that won't chafe over long distances, while a windproof jacket needs taped seams and a close, aerodynamic cut. We produce from the buyer's own tech pack and sizing rather than a stock range.
Turning your design into a production sample
Most orders start with a reference garment, a design file, or a full spec sheet. We build a sample from that, confirm fabric, fit, and construction, and get it signed off before bulk production starts. Team branding, sponsor logos, or a private label brand's own tags and trims are applied at the sample stage, so what ships in bulk matches exactly what was approved.
Consistency across the full order
A jersey or bib short that fits right as a sample has to fit the same way across a full production run, and again, if the order repeats the following season. Cutting stays consistent, seams get checked at each stage, and fabric batches are tracked so colors and fit don't drift between deliveries.
If you have a design, a reference garment, or a spec sheet ready, send it over, and we'll walk you through sampling and timelines for your cycling range.
