- Knit & Jersey Apparel Manufacturing
Jersey fabric moves with the body in a way woven cloth never does, which is exactly why it dominates casual and lifestyle wardrobes, but that same stretch makes construction less forgiving of sloppy pattern work. Blue Star Manufacturing has produced textiles out of Sialkot since 1972, and knit and jersey production draws on that experience, adapted to fabric that behaves on its own terms.
Knit
What We Produce
We manufacture soft knitted and jersey-based collections for casual, lifestyle, and everyday clothing, covering the kind of garments people reach for daily rather than for a single occasion. These pieces depend on fabric feel as much as design, since jersey lives or dies on how soft and how well it holds up wash after wash.
Stretch And Recovery
Jersey and knit fabric stretches under wear and needs to recover its shape afterward, or a garment loses fit within weeks of regular use. We manage that through fabric selection and construction choices, seam types that allow for stretch rather than fighting it, and stitching that won't pop or distort under normal movement. Necklines and hems on knit garments are finished to hold their shape rather than curling or stretching out over time.
Working To Your Collection
Send us your design references, fabric weight preferences, or existing samples, and we build patterns and develop samples that account for stretch, recovery, and fabric hand before scaling into bulk production. Once a sample is approved, we carry that construction into full production runs, including private label manufacturing in bulk quantities, where knit and jersey apparel ships under a brand's own labels and packaging rather than ours.
