Technical fabrics are engineered rather than simply woven or knitted, layered constructions that combine stretch, wind resistance, and durability into one textile, and building garments from them means understanding what each layer of the fabric is actually doing. Blue Star Manufacturing has produced textiles out of Sialkot since 1972, and softshell and technical apparel calls on a different kind of construction knowledge than standard fashion fabrics.

What We Produce

We manufacture functional textile collections offering stretch, wind resistance, durability, and lightweight protection, built for performance and active use rather than pure fashion styling. These pieces are judged on how they perform during movement and exposure to conditions, so function drives construction decisions from the earliest stage of development.

Seam And Fabric Performance

Technical fabrics often use bonded or laminated layers, and stitching through those layers has to preserve the fabric's wind resistance and stretch performance rather than compromising it at every seam line. We select seam types and stitching methods suited to how a specific technical fabric is constructed, since a standard seam that works fine on cotton can weaken a laminated softshell at exactly the point it needs to hold up. Fit is built with active movement in mind, articulated patterning at joints like elbows and knees so the garment moves with the body during use.

Working To Your Collection

Send us your design references, fabric specifications, or existing samples, and we build patterns and develop samples that preserve technical performance before scaling into bulk production. Once a sample is approved, we carry that construction into full production runs, including private label manufacturing in bulk quantities, where softshell and technical apparel ships under a brand's own labels and packaging rather than ours.
