Keeping water out of a garment while letting the body breathe is a construction problem, not just a fabric choice, since every seam and closure is a potential point where waterproofing can fail. Blue Star Manufacturing has produced textiles out of Sialkot since 1972, and waterproof and weather-resistant apparel demands that level of attention at every stitch line rather than just in the fabric itself.

What We Produce

We manufacture rain-ready and weather-protective textile collections for outdoor, travel, and commercial use, built to hold up against sustained exposure rather than light drizzle. These pieces need to perform reliably in the conditions they're designed for, which means construction quality determines whether a garment actually delivers on its weather protection once it's in use.

Sealed Seams And Closures

A waterproof fabric only stays waterproof if the seams don't undo that protection, so we use seam sealing or taping methods suited to each fabric to close off the small perforations that stitching creates. Zippers, storm flaps, and cuffs are constructed to keep water out at the points where a garment opens and closes, since these are typically where weather protection fails first if not built correctly. Breathability is balanced against waterproofing so a garment doesn't trap moisture from the inside while keeping it out from the outside.

Working To Your Collection

Send us your design references, fabric specifications, or existing samples, and we build patterns and develop samples that hold up to the weather conditions your collection is built for before scaling into bulk production. Once a sample is approved, we carry that construction into full production runs, including private label manufacturing in bulk quantities, where waterproof apparel ships under a brand's own labels and packaging rather than ours.
